Thanksgiving is Here!
Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006For all of you who haven’t finalized the Thanksgiving menu list and are in want of a good appetizer recipe, look no further than these shrimp spring rolls from David Chang of Momofuku - watch the video from New York Magazine! He struggles with explaining things a bit at first but once he gets to actually making the rolls, he’s good! I could surely use this guy on my team for my annual Thanksgiving football game with friends.
What wines are you drinking for Thanksgiving? I bought two bottles - a Grotta Rossa 2002 from Carignanon Del Sulcis and a 2003 Promessa Rosso Salento. Both were under $15 and they’re supposed to make really nice pairings with the typical Thanksgiving fare. Nice full-bodided red wines from Italy — I’m very excited!
